A 30-year-old man wanted for a homicide in Mississippi was arrested in Manitowoc County late last week.
According to Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig, investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service – Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force were provided with initial information on San Marco V. Houston by the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force and Meridian Police Department.
They were then able to locate his vehicle and confirm that he was staying at a hotel in Manitowoc.
They were able to arrest Houston without incident and he is currently in the Manitowoc County Jail.
He will remain in the jail until plans for his extradition are finalized.
Sheriff Hartwig said in a news release, “We want to thank all agencies involved for their cooperative efforts in locating and apprehending Houston.”
The details surrounding his case have not been released.
