The fuel prices in Eastern Wisconsin continue their recovery from the record highs back in early June.
According to the AAA Gas Prices website, the average price per gallon of fuel in Manitowoc County is down 12 cents to $3.85, while Sheboygan County reported a 16-cent drop to $3.92.
Calumet County saw the smallest decline in the area, down 10 cents to $3.77, while Outagamie County is 12 cents lower than last week at $3.71.
Brown County is down 11 cents to $3.77, Kewaunee County’s average price plummeted 18 cents to $3.78, and Door County reported a 13 decline to $3.90.
The state average is also down significantly, 15 cents to $3.87, while the national average has not yet broken the $4 threshold.
Despite a 13-cent drop, the average price throughout the country remains at $4.19.
The Manitowoc County average is back down to where it was in the 4th week of April.
