There are three meetings scheduled to kick off the month of August in the City of Manitowoc.
Starting off the day will be the Room Tax Commission, which will be in the Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m.
After getting an update on the visual identity of Visit Manitowoc and their ongoing website projects, the group will enter a closed session where they will get an update on the ongoing lawsuit with the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau, and will discuss some possible sites for the Visitor Information Center.
Then at 5:00 p.m., the Library Board of Trustees will be in the Board room of the library.
As we reported this weekend, they will be selecting a new Executive Director. Closing out the day will be the Personnel Committee, which will convene in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
After receiving their usual reports, the group will conduct contract negotiations with Teamsters Local Number 662 in both closed and open sessions.
