Racine firefighters have rescued a man from the balcony of a burning building.
When fire crews arrived just after 7:15 a.m. Sunday witnesses told them about the man.
A ladder was used to get him down.
Authorities say he had suffered significant injuries and had to be hospitalized.
His name hasn’t been released.
Several tenants had been sleeping when the fire broke out and they had to be awakened so they could get out safely.
