
Manitowoc County Ag Educator Angie Ulness
The Manitowoc County Agriculture Educator says crops are doing well locally.
During her weekly agriculture update on WOMT, Angie Ulness told us that there are a lot of people making third crops and called last weekend’s storms “million-dollar rain.”
Also, wheat is starting to be harvested. She said so far they have seen, “pretty good outcomes in bushels per acre, but we will see when that data all comes in.”
Ulness is now spending her time helping young farmers prepare for the state fair next week.
She explained that 15 young and women that will be showing their animals, namely Jerseys, Red and White Holsteins, Brown Swiss, and Black and White Holsteins.
