There was a major drug bust in Outagamie County this week.
Numerous law enforcement agencies were involved with the seizure of 16 pounds of Methamphetamine Wednesday in Appleton and Grand Chute.
Arrest warrants were issued as a part of an ongoing investigation, which resulted in the arrests of several individuals.
On top of the large amount of meth, authorities also collected cocaine, firearms, drug money, and three vehicles.
It is estimated that the street value of the drugs was between $100,000 and $200,000, depending on several factors.
Formal charges have not yet been filed against the people arrested, so their names have not been released.
This major bust caught the attention of Attorney General Josh Kaul, who said that “Drug trafficking poses a serious threat to public safety, and law enforcement officers around the state are committed to putting drug dealers behind bars.”
