As housing continues to be an issue for many communities, local leaders are continuing to push for new housing projects to begin.
There are three coming down the pipeline in Two Rivers, and in Green Bay, work has begun on a $59 million apartment complex.
The building, which will be known as The Fort at the Railyard, began life back in 2019 when it was pitched to the city.
This huge project will be offering a total of 420 residential units.
187 of those units will be set aside for families earning up to 60% of the area median income, with the remaining 233 will be at market price.
The building is being constructed at 419 Donald Driver Way.
Meanwhile, in Manitowoc, work continues on the River North apartment building in the ever-evolving River Point District in Downtown Manitowoc.
