The Door County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people involved in a single truck crash last week in the Town of Egg Harbor that left one person dead and another injured.
Chief Deputy Patrick McCarty said in a news release this morning that the deceased male has been positively identified by the Brown County Medical Examiner’s Office as 37-year-old Timothy Corn of Neopit.
The injured victim, 25-year-old Emilio Rodriguez of Shawano, was taken to a Green Bay hospital for treatment.
Door County authorities stated the truck was traveling northbound of Heritage Lake Road near County Highway E just before 9 p.m. on July 19th when the driver lost control and entered the ditch where it struck a tree and utility pole before catching fire.
The incident remains under investigation and no further information is being released.
