The Manitowoc Bandits rallied from a 2-0 deficit after 7 innings to defeat the Denmark Devilbears 3-to-2 last night.
Chris Rohr scored the game-winner on a one-out basehit from Brandon Black in the home half of the 9th, giving the Bandits an exciting walk-off win and the top seed in the playoffs.
AJ Dollinger homered to get Manitowoc on the board in the 8th, and following a double by Brando Black, Earl Vorpagel knocked in the tying run.
Lucas Mandich was the winning pitcher in relief with 3 scoreless innings that included 2 hits and 4 strikeouts.
Ben Coons started the game and gave up just 3 hits in 6 innings of work.
Angel De LaCruz and Shaun Correy had RBI’s for the Devilbears.
The Bandits now await the winner of a 4 vs. 7 bracket playoff this week.
