A citizen request has opened up a discussion in the City of Manitowoc.
The Building Board of Appeals is scheduled to gather at 4:00 this evening in the 1st Floor Hearing Room in City Hall, where they will discuss an exemption request submitted by a couple of residents.
The two individuals live in the 4800 block of West Custer Street and are looking to build a detached accessory structure that would exceed the allowable maximum square footage area allowed under city ordinance.
After the Board looks over that request, they will take a closer look at the ordinance to see if any changes need to be made.
