Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu
State Senator Devin LeMahieu has been honored by the Wisconsin Counties Association.
They have given the Oostburg Republican and Senate Majority Leader a WCA Outstanding Legislator Award for his work on behalf of county government during the 2021-2022 Legislative Session.
The “WCA Outstanding Legislator Award” is handed out biennially to a select group of legislators who have represented county interests in both the legislature and in their districts.
WCA President and CEO Mark O’Connell called LeMahieu an “exceptional partner and leader” saying he worked to “advance sensible public policy initiatives while always keeping taxpayers in mind.”
Sheboygan County Board Supervisor Thomas Wegner, who is also a WCA Board Member said they are “grateful for the impact of his work here in Sheboygan County as well as in every corner of our state.”
