A 36-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested for the fatal shooting in May of a Navy sailor.
Phoenix Castanon of Arizona was in West Allis visiting his girlfriend.
Police say another woman was walking down the streets when the suspect pulled up to her in his vehicle.
She told investigators she was frightened and ran to Castanon’s car seeking help.
He got out of his car and approached the other vehicle.
The men had words and Castanon was shot.
The suspect’s name hasn’t been released yet.
Charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County district attorney’s office.
