After a very successful regular season, the Manitowoc American Legion varsity baseball team is scheduled to open play later today in the Marinette Regional Tournament.
The first game for Post 88 in the double-elimination tourney is against Bay Port.
Kevin Stangel’s ballclub compiled a 19-4 mark during the regular season and they hope to build on that success this week.
