The Bucks call center Serge Ibaka “an elite defender and shot blocker.”
That’s why the NBA team has re-signed the 32-year-old to keep him with the team.
Ibaka was brought to Milwaukee as part of a four-team deal at the trading deadline last February.
In that deal involving the Clippers and Kings, the Bucks gave up guard Donte DiVincenzo and got Ibaka, a pair of second-round draft picks, and cash in return.
He averaged 7 points, 5.3 rebounds, and about 18 minutes a game down the stretch.
Ibaka has been named to the NBA All-Defensive first team three times and led the league in blocked shots for four seasons.
