The crews working on I-43 in Manitowoc and Brown Counties are getting very close to the end of their project, but there is still some work to do.
This week, workers will be putting down the final surface layer of asphalt paving in both directions.
They will also be placing new posts and right-of-way fencing along the northbound side.
Single lane closures are expected on both sides of the highway, but the overpasses that were previously closed off will be reopened this week.
Those locations include the overpasses at Reifs Mills, Polifka, Fisherville, Greenstreet, Hidden Valley, Zander, and Cooperstown Roads.
