The trial for a man accused of killing a Green Bay man and burning his body on the UW Green Bay campus has been delayed again.
Pedro Santiago-Marques is charged with 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Mutilating a Corpse as Party to the Crime in the death of Jason Mendez-Ramos.
Santiago-Marquez was initially scheduled to go on trial on April 18th, but because the evidence was still being gathered, it was delayed until July 18th.
However, while in court yesterday (July 13th) both the prosecution and defense teams agreed to another postponement, with September 12th selected as the next trial start date.
Also charged in the case are Alexander Burgos-Mojica, whose trial is scheduled to being August 1st, and Jeisaac Rodriguez-Garcia, who has a status conference on July 25th.
Both men reportedly worked for Santiago-Marquez and had varying roles in the case.
