The West Foundation in Manitowoc has announced a new grant program.
The Directors’ Choice Imagining Grant is divided into two parts totaling $100,000.
The first grant of $50,000 will be awarded to a non-profit agency that proposes a program or service providing direct human services to the people of Manitowoc County.
The second grant of $50,000 will be given to a non-profit organization that designs a program or service focused on the arts, culture, or environment in Manitowoc County.
Dr. Phyllis Schippers, Board Chairman, and President explained to Seehafer News that this grant is “an opportunity for local non-profits to step outside the box to answer the question: ‘What could we do with $50,000?’”
All proposals must be submitted by September 30, 2022.
The successful agencies will be announced by the Board on December 14, 2022, and funding will take place before the close of 2022.
