It will be a busy day in the City of Manitowoc as there are four meetings on the docket.
First up is the Committee on Aging, which will convene at 1:30 p.m. in the Manitowoc Senior Center.
After going over the Aging and Disability Resource Center Report, the group will discuss any upcoming trips, and the Southeast Asia Support Group will request the purchase of a cabinet.
There are also two meetings scheduled to take place at 4:00 p.m.
The Manitowoc Public Library Personnel Committee will be in City Hall, while the Manitowoc Public Utilities Commission will gather in the MPU offices on South 8th Street.
Closing out the day will be the Public Safety Committee, which will convene in the Council Chambers at 5:30 p.m.
After the group gives the public time to comment and goes over all of their monthly reports, the group will look over a Police Department request for a special distribution of the K9 Preservation Fund.
This money would go toward the purchase of another police vehicle.
The Fire Department will also be asking for extraction equipment and for additional firefighter gear.
