
The late Bryan Lee, also known as the “Braille Blues Daddy” and “Blind Giant Of The Blues” will be remembered this weekend in his hometown.
The 2nd annual Bryan Lee Memorial Blues Festival is set for Central Park Saturday from 1:00 until 9:00 p.m.
Six music groups will be featured during the course of the afternoon and evening in Two Rivers.
Lee was born in Two Rivers in 1943 and passed away at age 77 two years ago in Sarasota, Florida.
Lee, whose musical achievements included a 2011 Grammy nomination with Kenny Wayne Shepard, BMA Blues Rock Album of the Year and Legendary Blues Artist-Blues Hall of Fame.
The man who started performing professionally at the tender age of 13 in his birthplace, went on to record 18 albums over 4 decades.
