The call came in reporting the fire in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue just after 7:15 p.m.
Crews arrived on the scene to find a two-car detached garage completely engulfed in flames, and citizens battling the inferno with garden hoses.
The fire crews jumped into action, taking down the flames, and remaining on the scene until 8:35 p.m. to take care of hotspots.
No injuries were reported and the garage was deemed a total loss.
