While the average price for a gallon of fuel in Wisconsin did not change from last week, the eastern portion of the state saw pretty significant declines.
According to the AAA Gas Prices website, Both Manitowoc and Sheboygan Counties saw a 12-cent decline from last week, now sitting at $4.55 and $4.58 respectively.
Outagamie County actually reported the biggest drop, down 14 cents to $4.43, while Kewaunee County motorists are paying 13 cents less per gallon with an average of $4.52.
Door County saw a moderate drop in price, down 9 cents to $4.64.
Calumet County was not so lucky, as they reported a 4-cent drop to $4.47, and Brown County’s average only dropped a penny to $4.46.
The state average, as mentioned remained unchanged at $4.58 while the national average is down 10 cents to $4.78.
