Relatives of 16-year-old Malik Simmons say he is now brain-dead after being shot over the weekend.
He had reportedly been involved in a fight over whether Simmons had paid for a $10 belt.
The Milwaukee teen was one of four children shot in the city in four days.
Two of the shootings involved three-year-olds and they are thought to have been accidents – but one resulted in the arrest of a woman.
One of the young victims died.
The fourth wounded young person was a 15-year-old who is expected to survive after being shot Sunday.
Malik Simmons is being treated at Children’s Wisconsin in Wauwatosa but one family member says he isn’t expected to ever come home.
