The use of so-called ghost guns is on the rise across the state, and specifically in Green Bay.
While the biggest issue can be found in Milwaukee, where 45 such guns have been recovered so far this year, compared to 37 last year and 8 in 2020, Green Bay police are also finding them.
It is being reported that the first of these 3D printed, or kit assembled guns was found last year in Green Bay, and they have located three or four this year.
Another problem is the use of gel guns, which look like real guns but fire gel pellets.
While they may not cause as much physical damage as a firearm, they can cause a panic, which could also result in physical or emotional damage.
