The “Mayor of Milwaukee” remains in office.
The Bucks brought crowd favorite Bobby Portis back Thursday by signing the veteran to a four-year, $49-million contract.
The team’s front office was busy as it worked out a deal with reserve guard Wesley Matthews and signed free agent 3-point specialist Joe Ingles of Utah.
Ingles is one of the best 3-point shooters in NBA history, hitting almost 41 percent of his attempts.
The Bucks have also kept defensive specialist Jevon Carter and are expected to announce a deal with Jordan Nwora.
