The Wisconsin Supreme Court has ruled a 15-year-old accused of opening fire at Wauwatosa’s Mayfair Mall should be tried as an adult.
The justices voted four-to-three that a Children’s Court judge erred when she denied a prosecution request to move the case to adult court.
The suspect faces eight felony counts of first-degree reckless injury.
He is accused of opening fire while confronting a group of people in the mall November 20th, 2020.
He hit three people in the group, a friend, and four shoppers who hadn’t been involved.
