The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who died in an early-morning crash on Monday (June 27th).
64-year-old Francisco Escobar of Sheboygan was reportedly traveling north on I-43 early Monday morning when he entered the median near Foster Road at Oostburg, struck a guardrail, and rolled his vehicle several times.
Escobar was pronounced dead at the scene. While the incident remains under investigation, it is believed that alcohol was a factor.
I-43 was shut down for several hours for clean-up and a complete accident reconstruction.
