It hasn’t always been clear in recent years but it is this time – Aaron Rodgers is QB-1 for the Green Bay Packers and Jordan Love will be his backup.
This is the 15th season in a row for Rodgers to be leading the Pack and he isn’t letting up.
He’s completed almost 70 percent of his passes over the last two seasons for more than 8,400 yards, 85 touchdown passes, and only nine interceptions.
The release of third-string quarterback Kurt Benkert removes all doubt about who will relieve Rodgers, if necessary.
Jordan Love will get a lot of work in the preseason and not much at all – barring injury – when the regular starts.
