Even though school is out for the summer, the Manitowoc Public School District is continuing to work on fixing the student behavior issue that sprung up during this past school year.
Their Ad-Hoc Student Behavior Advisory Committee is scheduled to gather at 1:00 this afternoon in the MPSD Office on Lindbergh Drive.
There are only two items on their agenda.
They will look over the assembly of the Code of Conduct, and the timeline for their in-progress behavior plan.
Former Superintendent Mark Holzman reported several times throughout this past school year that students had been misbehaving at a much higher rate than was typical.
He told us that the least behaved class was the 6th-grade class, which had more out-of-school suspension days than the entirety of Lincoln High School.
