Former Badgers safety Collin Wilder has announced he is ending his football career.
Wilder tweeted the information Monday.
Wilder was a team leader who originated the Badgers’ “Grit Factory” identity.
He arrived in Madison after playing for the Houston Cougars in 2019.
Wilder ended up playing in 32 games for Wisconsin, including 12 starts.
His college career was ended when he was called for targeting in the final regular-season game last year against Minnesota.
