Republican members of the Wisconsin congressional delegation didn’t give their support last week to a package of gun reforms.
President Joe Biden is expected to sign the bills into law.
They provide funding for mental health services and school security programs, expand criminal background checks for some gun buyers, prohibit a larger group of domestic-violence offenders from buying guns, and provide funding for so-called “red flag” programs that allow the courts to seize guns from troubled individuals.
No Republicans from Wisconsin voted for the package of bills.
