An Oshkosh woman is recovering after she was reportedly struck in the head with a gun late last week.
Officers with the Oshkosh Police Department were sent to a home near the intersection of West 10th Avenue and South Main Street just after midnight on Friday.
The officers were told that there was a fight taking place and that a gun was involved.
When they arrived, the officers learned that a woman was hit in the head with the gun, causing her to be taken to a local hospital for treatment.
There were no other injuries reported.
The attack was said to be “targeted” but the investigation is ongoing.
