The Manitowoc American Legion Baseball team went 3 and 1 this weekend at the Marinette Firecracker Tournament.
Legion Post started play Friday afternoon with an 8-1 decision over Menominee, Michigan before falling to Gladstone, Michigan 5-4 in 8 innings on Saturday morning.
Manitowoc would then bounce back with victories over Marquette 8-to-1 later in the day and 13-nothing over Escanaba on Sunday.
The Legion varsity squad, now 9-and-2 this summer, has the day off before traveling to De Pere Tuesday (June 28th) night for an 8:00 p.m. game.
