The Waupun man who was involved in a high-speed chase in Two Rivers three years ago has been sentenced.
27-year-old Kyle A. Mesna was found guilty due to a no-contest plea on charges of Fleeing or Eluding an Officer, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of THC, and Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, all as a repeat offender for the October 6th, 2019 incident.
Judge Mark Rohrer sentenced Mesna to 10 years and three months in prison to be followed by three years on extended supervision.
Officers were called to the 2300 block of Roosevelt Avenue in Two Rivers early on the morning of the incident for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Mesna, who was wanted on outstanding warrants, fled from the officers, reaching speeds of over 100 miles per hour as he traveled throughout the County and in the City of Manitowoc.
He eventually crashed in the 5600 block of Johnston Drive and was arrested.
He was not injured in the incident.
