A Milwaukee Fire Department rescue team used a fire truck ladder, harness, and ropes to lift a worker who was injured at a lakefront construction site Thursday afternoon.
No names have been released and the victim’s medical condition isn’t known.
He was reportedly working at the Couture job site.
That is a high-rise building that has been planned for years at a location near Discovery World and the Summerfest grounds.
The accident happened at about 3:45 p.m while big crowds of people were showing up for the opening day of Summerfest.
Authorities haven’t said how the victim was injured.
