La Crosse Central High School basketball coach Todd Fergot is in Brooklyn to watch his former star player, Johnny Davis, hear his name announced during the 2022 NBA Draft.
Fergot says he first met Johnny and his twin brother Jordan at a youth basketball camp at the high school when the two were four years old.
The coach says he began having conversations with Davis and his family about attending this year’s draft while the player was having a breakout season with the Wisconsin Badgers.
Davis is expected to be chosen in the first 10 players by one of the teams tonight (June 23rd) at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
