With hotter temperatures returning to the lakeshore area on the first day of summer, more and more people are turning out at what’s been termed “a precious gem” for the city of Two Rivers.
Jared Rohrer, Parks and Facility Supervisor, tells Seehafer News his personnel noticed a larger volume of people visiting the popular Neshotah Beach.
Rohrer explained the city has taken over the concession stand this year and they actually ran out of some supplies by noon Tuesday, and staff members had to make some extra trash runs as well.
He did add, “We have been noticing a lot of visitors have been leaving behind some of their beach toys and glass bottles.”
He pointed out “while it’s great seeing so many people enjoying themselves, glass is not allowed on the beach.”
