The team will look around and wait until after this week’s draft, but a reunion with reserve guard Wes Matthews looks likely for the Bucks.
Matthews is 36 years old but he is still one of the most tenacious defenders in the NBA.
He had an off-year shooting 3-pointers last season but still appeared in 49 games after he arrived in Milwaukee.
NBA.com singles him out for his shutdown work against stars like DeMar DeRozan, Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and others.
There’s apparently interest on both sides and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the veteran returns to his hometown of Milwaukee.
