Cornerback Keisean Nixon has a good chance to slip into the Packers lineup at cornerback alongside Jaire Alexander, Rasul Douglas, and Eric Stokes.
He was a backup for the Las Vegas Raiders last season and signed with the Packers as a free agent.
He also may bring something more important to his new team.
He’s considered a solid special teams player after a season under coordinator Rich Bisaccia last year.
Nixon’s 4.4 speed in the 40 lets him get downfield quickly when he’s a part of punt and kick coverage – a valuable asset as the Packers try to rebuild their special teams unit.
