The discovery of a 46-year-old man’s body in a rural Eau Claire County ditch is now being labeled a homicide investigation.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
The body was found last Thursday shortly after 11:00 a.m. in a ditch east of the St. Raymond Parish church in the Town of Clear Creek.
Investigators say the evidence at the scene makes it appear to be a targeted attack.
The sheriff’s office hopes anyone who knows anything about the death will come forward with that information.
