After a two-year COVID-induced hiatus, the Free Levitt AMP Sheboygan Music Series is returning this week.
On Thursday (June 23rd) the Oregon-based sister trio Joseph will headline the opening night.
Joseph first made a splash in 2016 with their song “White Flag” topping Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs chart.
The album it came from, I’m Alone, No You’re Not, hit the top ten on both the alternative and rock charts.
Show opener Desmond Jones, hailing from Michigan, performs original music centered on melodic guitar riffs, funky bass lines, groovy drumbeats, and smooth saxophone.
The series of concerts will be held at City Green, which is located at the downtown intersection of New York Avenue and Seventh Street.
Desmond Jones will take the stage at 6:00 p.m., and those planning to attend are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.
Information about this and the ten other concerts in the series is available at JMKAC.org, by calling (920) 458-6144, or by visiting the Arts Center at 608 New York Ave. in Sheboygan.
