There are three meetings on the calendar for today in the City of Manitowoc.
First up will be the Manitowoc Public Library Personnel Committee which will gather at 4:00 p.m. in the Library.
Then at 5:30 p.m., the Committee of the Whole will be in the Council Chambers.
After the public is given time to voice their comments, the Committee will discuss the sale of some land in the River Point District in both open and closed sessions.
Right after that meeting, the Common Council will take over the Chambers.
After several new Fire Department employees are sworn in, the Council will hold several public hearings, before Mayor Justin Nickels appoints Anissa Fencil to the Crime Prevention Committee.
They will also look over the development agreement for the expansion of Kaysun and will discuss a Sex Offender Residency Board appeal for Joseph William Berres.
