History suggests the Milwaukee Bucks will trade their first-round draft pick in the 2022 NBA Draft later this week.
It has been four years since the team kept the player it selected in the first round.
General manager Jon Horst has held the position for five years and has drafted only two players in the first round – DJ Wilson and Donte DiVincenzo.
NBA observers expect Horst to use the draft pick as part of a trade to come up with a veteran addition to the roster.
Several names have been mentioned.
Horst won’t commit to the idea he will make a trade.
The team says it will keep the player chosen at number-24 in the draft starting Thursday if it feels the player can contribute immediately.
