The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers fell again to the Great Lakes Loons last night 13-4.
The Rattlers’ offense was not nearly as anemic as they were the night before, as they were able to scatter 8 hits, but it wasn’t enough.
The Loons batters had their way with the Rattlers pitching staff, as all but two of their players picked up hits.
10 of their 19 hits came off of starter Zach Mort, who also gave up 8 runs in three and two-thirds innings.
Christian Tripp came on in relief, but also five hits and four runs, while Tyler Gilles and Ashton McGee closed out the final three innings by only allowing four hits and one run between them.
The Rattlers will try to even the series this evening in Midland Michigan.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
