The Douglas County district attorney says no charges will be filed against the Superior police officer who ran over a man who was lying in the road.
The incident happened February 19th.
District Attorney Mark Fruehauf announced his decision Tuesday after nearly four months of considering his options.
Officer Joshua Sislo was looking for a prowler when his squad car hit a bump in the road.
He kept going, but a short time later a 911 caller reported a body in the street where he had just passed.
Sislo notified his sergeant and his squad car video footage was examined for evidence.
