After a solid start to the season, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have hit a bit of a rut.
They have gone just under .500 over their last four series, leaving them with a record of 33-23.
This puts them in a solid second place in the Midwest League’s West Division, 3.5 games behind the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
If the Rattlers are going to overtake the Kernels, they need to improve their performance away from Fox Cities Stadium.
When playing at home, the Rattlers are 18-9, but they are 15-4 when on the road.
This week, the Appleton-based ballclub will be taking on another team in a similar position, the Great Lakes Loons.
They are also 3.5 games out of first in the East Division with their 33-24 record.
Both teams will look to gain ground in their divisions tonight at Dow Diamond in Midland Michigan.
First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m., with Antoine Kelly getting the start for the Rattlers.
