Denmark and Bay Port will be representing the area and region this week at the WIAA State Baseball Tournament in Grand Chute.
The Pirates draw the #8 seed in the Division-1 field and are scheduled to face top-seeded Sun Prairie in the second quarterfinal game of the morning (at approximately 10:15 a.m.) at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
The semifinals in D1 are set to begin at around 5:30 this evening with the title contest slated for Thursday night.
In the Division-2 portion of the tourney, the Denmark Vikings have the #3 seed and will meet the 2 seed, Pewaukee, in a semifinal round game Wednesday evening at approximately 7:45 p.m.
The championship in D2 is set for Thursday afternoon at 3:00 p.m.
Division 3 and 4 semifinal action is also scheduled for tomorrow, with title games on Thursday.
