The Badgers have promoted coach Joe Krabbenhoft to associate head coach.
Krabbenhoft is a former Badgers player and he has been on head coach Greg Gard’s staff for the last seven seasons.
Gard announced the promotion Monday morning while pointing to Krabbenhoft’s work ethic and track record.
The new associate head coach has helped develop 13 players who have won All-Big Ten honors, including guard Johnny Davis, who was a first-team All-American and the Big Ten Player of the Year.
Wisconsin has a 151-and-83 record since Krabbenhoft joined the staff.
