A handful of athletes and teams from the lakeshore region picked up awards recently from the 2022 USA Clay Target Shooting League Spring season.
The league is an extracurricular co-ed and adaptive activity for high schools and students in grades 6 through 12.
Local individual winners included Fischer Schaus and Crystal Anhalt of Mishicot High School along with the Denmark trio of Ashlyn Schultz, Clint Duescher, and Carson Schroeder.
Mishicot, Denmark, and Plymouth all earned team awards in the Wisconsin Clay Target League, whose priorities are safety, fun, and marksmanship.
