Young people and adults alike can help out their friends and neighbors through volunteerism this Friday.
Ashley Bender, Executive Director for United Way of Manitowoc County, told Seehafer News it’s their annual “Day Of Action.”
She explained that “It’s a day of service for communities in order to just come together and give back to the community….help to work together to live united for a day and tackle some projects that need to be done and give back in meaningful ways.”
Bender went on to reveal that there’s a list of projects that are available for individuals or groups including, “door-hanger distribution, park cleanup, and we’re going to be installing a gravel trail in preparation for putting in a Born Learning Trail, which is one of United Way’s projects to help with early education in Manitowoc County.”
