The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were hoping to even their series with the Beloit Sky Carp yesterday, but the series was called early due to COVID.
That game will be rescheduled, likely for the second half of the season, as this was their final scheduled matchup in the first half.
The Rattlers had lost the first two games of the series but bounced back to win Thursday.
They then lost Friday 5-4, but came back with a vengeance on Saturday, winning 12-4.
The Rattlers are now 3.5 games behind the Cedar Rapids Kernels in the Midwest League’s West Division.
The South Bend Cubs slipped to 7 games back of the Kernels, while Beloit eked up to 11.5 games back.
The Rattlers get their rare second day off in a row today, before traveling to Midland Michigan for a series against the Great Lakes Loons.
The Loons are currently 3.5 games behind the Dayton Dragons in the East Division.
